Marinate beef in a boozy sauce for a flavorful BBQ twist, garnish with olives for a fun presentation!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 0.25 cup gin
  • 1 tablespoon dry vermouth
  • 1 tablespoon green olive brine
  • 4 (1/2 pound) beef sirloin steaks
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Mix together the onion, garlic, barbecue sauce, gin, vermouth, olive brine, and basil in a medium bowl.
  • Season each steak generously with salt and pepper before placing them in individual resealable bags. Divide the flavorful marinade among the bags, ensuring it coats the steaks evenly. Seal the bags and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours for maximum flavor infusion.
  • Heat up the grill until it reaches medium-high temperature and lightly oil the grate.
  • Take the steaks out of the bags, then dispose of the marinade. Grill the steaks for 7 to 8 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking.
