Elevate comfort food with decadent fettuccine stroganoff.
Ingredients:
250g fettuccine
18.20 gm olive oil
600g beef rump steak, thinly sliced
20g butter
1 large brown onion, thinly sliced
200g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
10.00 gm paprika
235.00 gm sour cream
127.50 gm beef stock
21.00 gm lemon juice
40.00 ml finely choppedfresh chives
Instructions:
Boil fettuccine in salted water as per package instructions until tender, then drain.
Heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown the beef in batches for 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl. Melt butter in the pan, then cook onion and garlic for 5 minutes until softened. Add mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes until tender.
Sprinkle in the paprika and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Mix in the sour cream and stock, stirring over low heat until well combined, about 2 minutes. Add the beef back to the pan and stir to combine. Finish by stirring in the lemon juice.
Portion the pasta evenly into individual serving bowls. Top with a generous amount of the flavorful stroganoff mixture. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh chives for a vibrant touch. Serve the delicious dish immediately.
