Beetroot hummus

Impress guests with a delightful Middle Eastern twist: beetroot hummus dip!
Ingredients:
  • 450g can chopped beetroot, drained
  • 400g can chickpeas, rinsed, drained
  • 2 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
  • 24.00 gm tahini (sesame paste) (see note)
  • 21.00 gm lemon juice
  • Warmed Turkish bread, to serve
  • Radishes (optional), to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine beetroot, chickpeas, garlic, tahini, and lemon juice in a food processor. Blend until a coarse paste forms. While blending, gradually pour in the oil until the mixture becomes thick and smooth. Season to taste and serve with warmed Turkish bread and radishes on the side, if preferred.
