Impressively easy dessert: combine brownie and mousse mix for a decadent treat.
Ingredients:
  • 500g pkt Green's Triple Choc Fudge Brownie mix
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 500g strawberries
  • 80g jam
  • 60ml cointreau
  • 250g raspberries
  • 185g pkt Green's Chocolate Mousse mix
  • 375ml milk
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 300ml dollop cream
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to 180°C. - Grease a 20cm square cake pan and line it with baking paper. - Follow the packet instructions to prepare the brownie mix by adding eggs and butter. - Pour the mix into the pan. - Bake for 35 minutes until firm. - Allow it to cool in the pan before serving.
  • Thinly slice two-thirds of the strawberries, then combine them in a saucepan with the jam, liqueur (if using), and two-thirds of the raspberries. Simmer over medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes until the berries start to soften. Allow it to cool before using.
  • Cut the brownie into 3cm pieces and layer them at the bottom of an 8-cup (2L) glass serving dish. Top with half of the jam mixture.
  • Make the mousse as directed on the packet using milk. Spread the mousse over the jam layer in the dish. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Halve the remaining strawberries and raspberries. Transfer combined cream to a large bowl. Whip with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Fold in the rest of the jam mixture to create a marbled effect. Spoon over mousse and garnish with the halved strawberries and raspberries before serving.
