Irresistible apple crumble with a delicious cookie topping. Easy to make in just three steps. Get ready for rave reviews!
Ingredients:
  • 3 large apples, peeled, coarsely chopped (about 3 cups)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F. Grease an 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Combine all filling ingredients in a large bowl, then spread the mixture in the baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, blend the cookie mix with melted butter until it forms a crumbly texture. Then, sprinkle the mixture over the filling.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, then sprinkle with pecans and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until topping is golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
