Zesty margarita chicken marinade - fresh juice, liquor, & seasonings for the best kick!
Ingredients:
  • 0.66666668653488 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons coarse black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion salt
  • 0.5 cup margarita mix
  • 0.25 cup lime juice
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons tequila
  • 3 tablespoons triple sec
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup light olive oil
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
Instructions:
  • Combine cilantro, pepper, garlic powder, and onion salt in a blender. Add margarita mix, lime juice, orange juice, tequila, triple sec, and honey. Blend on high until smooth, then gradually drizzle in the olive oil while blending on medium-low speed until creamy. Place chicken in a resealable bag or glass bowl, pour marinade over, and coat well. Refrigerate for 5 hours.
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium-high heat and giving the grate a light oiling.
  • Take the chicken out of the marinade, pat off any extra, and dispose of the rest of the marinade. Grill the chicken until it's tender and the juices run clear, about 7 minutes on each side.
