Flavorful lemon zucchini bread with a hint of nutmeg - a beloved sweet treat for all.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup grated and squeezed zucchini
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a loaf pan.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, milk, oil, and lemon juice. Combine this mixture with the dry ingredients, lemon zest, and zucchini. Use a fork to stir until just moistened and thick in consistency. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and level the surface.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 60-70 minutes.
