Indulge in this cheesy sausage salsa dip for game day or any occasion!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (2 pound) loaf processed cheese, cubed
  • 1 (12 ounce) package ground pork sausage
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar medium salsa
  • 0.5 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 (12 ounce) package tortilla chips
Instructions:
  • Place the processed cheese and milk in a slow cooker set to high heat. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is fully melted and well blended with the milk.
  • In a medium skillet, cook ground pork sausage over medium-high heat until browned. Add white onion, cook and stir until onion is translucent. Remove from heat and drain.
  • Fold the seasoned sausage into the creamy cheese mixture, then lower the heat. Gently combine the vibrant salsa and hearty black beans. Let simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally to blend flavors perfectly.
  • Sprinkle with fresh green onions and enjoy with crunchy tortilla chips.
