Italian great-grandma's tuna Parmesan: simple, tasty weeknight dinner tradition.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8 ounce) jars tuna packed in oil, drained
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 (8 ounce) can pasta sauce
Instructions:
  • In a medium mixing bowl, mix together tuna, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and egg until well combined. Shape the mixture into 7 delicious tuna patties.
  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sear patties until lightly browned, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  • Heat the pasta sauce in a separate skillet until it simmers. Then, gently place the tuna patties in the sauce, ensuring they are covered, and let them simmer for 10 minutes.
