Try this quick and flavorful Indian-inspired salmon recipe using fresh or frozen salmon - perfect for a satisfying snack or meal paired with a salad.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 0.5 pound wild Pacific salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup oil for frying
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine cayenne, turmeric, and salt. Add salmon and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, warm the oil. Meanwhile, sprinkle cornstarch over the salmon and toss to coat evenly.
  • Sear the salmon in the hot oil until beautifully golden, flipping once, for about 1 minute per side.
