Decadent chocolate fudge with a salty pretzel crunch, a gourmet gift for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips (18 oz)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups small pretzel twists, coarsely crushed
  • 2 oz white chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • Prepare an 8-inch square pan by lining the bottom and sides with foil, making sure to leave some foil overhanging on two opposite sides of the pan. Give the foil a light coating of cooking spray.
  • In a 4-quart saucepan, gently melt the luscious combination of chocolate chips, condensed milk, and salt on low heat. Keep stirring until the mixture transforms into a velvety texture. Add in the enchanting vanilla, followed by the crunchy pretzels. Transfer the thick mixture into a pan and spread evenly.
  • Place white chocolate in a small microwavable bowl and microwave on High for 30 seconds or until softened. Stir until smooth and drizzle over the fudge. Refrigerate for 1 hour until set. Use foil to lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into 8 rows by 8 rows.
