Indulgent black bottom cupcakes: fudgy chocolate cake with creamy chocolate chip filling - a chocoholic's delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and prepare two 12-cup muffin tins by greasing them or lining with paper cups.
  • In a medium bowl, whip cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/8 teaspoon salt until fluffy. Gently fold in chocolate chips and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Create a well in the center and pour in water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Stir until fully combined.
  • Divide the chocolate batter evenly among the prepared muffin tins, filling each about 1/3 full. Spoon a dollop of cream cheese mixture on top of each batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the chocolate cake comes out clean and the cream cheese center is set.
