Create a delicious and easy recipe by combining fresh ingredients into a mouthwatering dish. Note: This recipe has not been tested by our team.
Ingredients:
  • 125g margarine or butter
  • 20.00 gm Cocoa Powder
  • 337.50 gm sugar
  • 250.00 gm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.25 gm bicarbonate of soda
  • 225.00 gm self-raising flour
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, combine margarine (or butter), cocoa, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil, then let it cool.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients thoroughly, ensuring they are well incorporated, and then transfer the mixture into a well-greased round tin lined with baking paper.
  • Bake at 180C (160C fan forced) for 40-45 minutes or until the center of the cake springs back.
  • Let the mixture in the pan cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cake rack to cool completely.
