A delicious recipe collaboration by Taste and Heinz.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely diced
  • 1 stick celery, finely diced
  • 50g gluten free pancetta, diced
  • 2 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 500g pork & veal mince
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) tomato paste
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) dry white wine
  • 400g tin Italian diced tomatoes
  • 340g Gluten Free Spaghetti
  • Grated parmesan cheese, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, warm olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion, carrot, celery, and pancetta, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and rosemary, and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant. Increase heat to high, add pork and veal mince, and cook for 5 minutes, breaking up the meat with a spoon until browned.
  • Sauté tomato paste for 1 minute, pour in wine, simmer until reduced by half. Stir in tomatoes and 125ml (½ cup) water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes until thickened. Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper as desired.
  • - Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of lightly salted boiling water until al dente based on packet instructions. Drain well, then serve with bolognese sauce and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
