Tender celery braised in savory chicken broth, the perfect pairing for bold grilled or roasted meats.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Spread the celery evenly on the skillet. Season generously with salt and pepper before adding small pieces of butter on top. Next, dissolve the bouillon cube in boiling water and drizzle it over the celery.
  • Place a lid on the pan and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat. Lower the heat to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
