Indulge in a creamy orecchiette pasta casserole with baked brie, asparagus, for a luxurious dinner ready in a snap.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 (16 ounce) package orecchiette pasta
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into thirds
  • 0.75 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) wedge Brie cheese, cut into small chunks
  • 0.25 cup bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Add orecchietta pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and transfer to a casserole dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until sizzling, then sauté the asparagus until tender, for approximately 5 minutes. Spread the cooked asparagus over the pasta layer.
  • Drizzle cream over asparagus and pasta, then season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Scatter chunks of creamy Brie cheese over the pasta and finish with a sprinkle of crispy bread crumbs on top.
  • Cook until the cheese is gooey and the bread crumbs are golden brown, for about 20 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
