Broiled Asparagus with Goat Cheese

Easy broiled asparagus topped with creamy goat cheese - simply divine!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 5 ounces crumbled goat cheese
Instructions:
  • Position an oven rack 6 inches away from the heat source and preheat the broiler in the oven.
  • Toss asparagus with olive oil, basil, salt, and pepper on a sheet pan until well coated.
  • Broil the asparagus in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until cooked through and easily pierced with a knife. Once done, sprinkle with goat cheese and serve.
