Vanilla-infused banana bread bursting with sweetness.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and banana. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine the banana mixture with the flour mixture until just combined. Gently fold in the walnuts and transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
  • Place the loaf in a preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
