Cheesy bruschetta with a medley of herbs for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack.
Ingredients:
  • 1 French baguette
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 roma (plum) tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 pinch ground white pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (6 ounce) package sliced provolone cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil. Top with tomato slices, basil, and oregano. Sprinkle with garlic powder and white pepper. Cover with mozzarella and provolone. Finish with more basil, oregano, and tomato slices.
  • Bake until the cheese is bubbly, for 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
