Create a refreshing tapioca slushy with extra wide straws for a delightful chewy surprise as you sip.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup large tapioca pearls
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chai tea mix
  • 2 cups ice
  • 3 tablespoons honey, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Bring a saucepan filled halfway with water to a boil. Drop in the tapioca pearls, ensuring they don't stick. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 45 minutes. Let it sit for 30 minutes off the heat, then rinse and drain. Add honey to coat the squishy, black pearls.
  • Combine milk, remaining honey, tea mix, and ice in a blender. Blend until desired slushiness. Divide tea mixture into two large glasses. Add half of the tapioca pearls to each glass. Insert extra wide straws for enjoying the pearls as you sip.
