Elevate cupcakes with playful decorations for a whimsical picnic setting.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix (or your favorite flavor)
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting or 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Vanilla Frosting
  • Assorted gumdrops and candies
  • Betty Crocker™ Fruit by the Foot™ chewy fruit snack rolls (any variety)
  • 1 tube (0.68 oz) Betty Crocker™ black decorating gel
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare and bake the cake mix following the instructions on the box to make 24 cupcakes. Let the cupcakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely for approximately 30 minutes before serving.
  • Top cupcakes with a generous amount of frosting. Use a variety of whole or cut-up gumdrops, candies, fruit snacks, and gel to create adorable bugs like ladybugs, bumblebees, butterflies, caterpillars, and beetles for decoration.
