Make these adorable bunny sandwich cookies with our easy tutorial for a fun and tasty treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • Betty Crocker™ gel food colors
  • Granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 36 jelly beans
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix cookie mix, butter, egg, and flour in a medium bowl until dough forms. Separate dough into 6 equal parts and add food coloring to each part as you like.
  • Roll out a portion of dough on a lightly floured surface until it is 1/4-inch thick. Using a 1 1/2-inch heart-shaped cutter, cut out 18 heart shapes. Cut 6 of the hearts in half to create ears. Dip the shapes in granulated sugar. Place the ears under 6 of the heart shapes to make bunny faces. Arrange all the shapes on an ungreased cookie sheet and repeat with the remaining dough portions.
  • Bake until lightly golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Combine frosting and powdered sugar and reserve 2 tablespoons of the frosting. Spread the frosting on the bottom sides of heart shapes without ears and sandwich them with heart shapes that have ears.
  • Place a small dab of the remaining 2 tablespoons frosting on the lower back side of the bunny and attach a jelly bean for the tail. Then, microwave the chocolate chips in a small microwavable bowl on High for about 30 seconds or until smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate into a small plastic food-storage bag and cut a small hole in one corner. Use the bag to pipe eyes and a nose for each bunny. Allow the chocolate and frosting to set before serving.
