Spicy Cajun seafood pasta with creamy shrimp and scallop sauce, served over fettuccine.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound dry fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 0.5 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 pound scallops
  • 0.5 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a vigorous boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain after cooking.
  • In a large skillet, gently heat cream until it's almost boiling while stirring constantly. Lower the heat and mix in green onions, parsley, basil, thyme, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and white pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer until thickened, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Add the shrimp and scallops to the mixture and sauté until the shrimp is fully cooked and opaque.
  • Incorporate the cheeses thoroughly until well blended.
  • Ladle the flavorful sauce over the al dente pasta.
  • Savor while hot!
