Cake Mix Cheesecake Brownies

Decadent chocolate fudge brownies with a creamy cream cheese swirl and rich chocolate chips - irresistible and easy to bake!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Combine cake mix, oil, water, and 1 egg in a medium bowl, stirring until smooth. Add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and mix well. Spread the batter evenly into the pan.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on low speed to blend cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and the last egg until smooth. Spoon the mixture onto the batter in random dollops, then swirl through with a knife for a marbled effect. Finally, top with the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted 1 inch from the side of the pan comes out almost clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cut into 16 squares.
