Indulge in decadent campfire s'mores bread pudding bursting with marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 4 hot dog buns, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 0.75 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 5 graham cracker squares, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons miniature marshmallows, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 2-quart square baking dish and lay out the hot dog bun pieces on a baking sheet.
  • Bake hot dog buns in the preheated oven for 7 to 8 minutes until they are dry and crisp. Allow them to cool completely.
  • Combine condensed milk, 3/4 cup milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and nutmeg in a bowl and beat until smooth.
  • Arrange hot dog bun pieces on the bottom of the baking dish. Drizzle the milk mixture over the buns. Sprinkle 1 cup marshmallows and 3/4 cup chocolate chips on top and let sit for 5 minutes to soak in. Finish by sprinkling graham cracker crumbs over the dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center of the bread pudding comes out clean.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 2 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons marshmallows, and 2 tablespoons chocolate chips. Stir until marshmallows and chocolate are completely melted and well combined. Pour this delicious marshmallow mixture over the bread pudding and let it cool for 20 to 30 minutes.
