Delicious low-fat brownies inspired by mom's recipe, a hit with the whole family!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar pureed prunes baby food
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Begin by warming up your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease an 8-inch square pan.
  • Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt in a mixing bowl. Incorporate baby food, eggs, oil, and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Evenly spread batter in the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top is glossy and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the dish to cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
