Caprese Salad: Thick vine-ripened tomatoes, creamy Burrata, fresh basil, olive oil, balsamic glaze. Delicious simplicity.
Ingredients:
  • 4 medium vine-ripened tomatoes
  • 16 ounces Burrata cheese
  • 1 bunch basil, leaves picked from stems
  • 0.5 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Cut each tomato into thick slices, then arrange them on a serving tray or platter.
  • Tear Burrata cheese into pieces and lay them over tomatoes. Top with fresh basil leaves, then generously drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
