Caramel Apple Martini

Indulge in a divine autumn cocktail - a blend of apple and butterscotch schnapps topped with a luscious caramel drizzle.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 green apple slices
  • 1 tablespoon chopped peanuts
  • 2 oz (1/4 cup) sour apple-flavored schnapps
  • 2 oz (1/4 cup) butterscotch-flavored schnapps
  • 2 oz (1/4 cup) apple- or vanilla-flavored vodka
  • 2 cups ice
Instructions:
  • Microwave the caramel ingredients in a small microwavable bowl on High for 40 to 60 seconds until it just begins to boil. Dip each apple slice into the caramel, then sprinkle each with 1/2 tablespoon of peanuts. Let the caramel cool slightly before using the remaining amount.
  • Divide the cooled caramel evenly into 2 martini glasses. Chill in the freezer while preparing the martinis.
  • Combine schnapps, liqueur, and vodka in a martini shaker. Shake vigorously, then strain into chilled martini glasses. Serve garnished with caramel-dipped apple slices.
