Caramel Peach Galette

Indulge in a simple yet exquisite peach galette with toffee bits and caramel drizzle.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups sliced peeled peaches (4 medium)
  • 1/3 cup toffee bits
  • 5 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar (raw sugar)
  • 1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup caramel topping
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Combine peaches, toffee bits, and 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar in a medium bowl; set aside.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, sour cream, and remaining granulated sugar in a large bowl, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough 5 times on a surface dusted with more Bisquick mix. Roll the dough into an 11-inch round shape on a cookie sheet.
  • Spoon peach mixture onto the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold edges of dough over the peach mixture, pleating as you go. Brush the dough edge with egg, sprinkle with turbinado sugar, and top with pecans.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the filling bubbles and the edges turn golden brown. Allow it to cool on a rack for 30 minutes before drizzling with caramel topping before serving.
