Elevate your popcorn with colorful hundreds and thousands for a festive touch!
Ingredients:
  • 36.80 gm vegetable oil
  • 82.50 ml popping corn
  • 75g butter
  • 1 1 /40.20 gm golden syrup
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
  • 40.00 ml hundreds and thousands
Instructions:
  • 1. Heat oil in a generously sized saucepan over medium heat. Add popping corn and cover. Cook until popping sounds subside, around 3-4 minutes. Transfer popped corn to a roomy heatproof bowl, discarding any unpopped kernels. Oil a spacious oven tray.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter with sugar, golden syrup, and vanilla over low heat until smooth and sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium-high and simmer without stirring for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Drizzle the caramel over the popcorn and gently mix with a spatula until well coated. Transfer the popcorn to a greased tray, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle with colorful hundreds and thousands. Allow it to cool and set for approximately 15 minutes. Once cooled, break into pieces. Store in an airtight container for freshness for up to 4 days.
