Irresistible caramel popcorn recipe with pantry staples. Sweet, crunchy, and easy to make.
Ingredients:
  • 5 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup corn syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions:
  • First, gather all your ingredients. Then, preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and place the popcorn in a very large bowl.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Let it boil undisturbed for 4 minutes.
  • After taking the pan off the heat, enhance the flavor by stirring in vanilla and baking soda. Drizzle the caramel evenly over the popcorn while stirring continuously. Keep stirring until the popcorn is completely coated.
  • Spread out the popcorn evenly across two large shallow baking dishes. Bake in the preheated oven, remembering to stir every 15 minutes, for a total of 1 hour.
  • Allow the dish to naturally cool down to room temperature, then break into delectable pieces to savor!
