Caramelised prawns with spicy chillies - a gourmet delight!
Ingredients:
  • 13.80 gm peanut oil
  • 500g green king prawns, peeled, deveined (leaving tails intact)
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • 18.00 gm sugar
  • 4 sheets fresh lasagne sheets, halved crossways
  • 125ml lemon juice
  • 20.00 ml sesame oil
  • 22.00 gm sweet chilli sauce
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 6 radish, finely chopped
  • 4 Lebanese cucumber, peeled into ribbons
  • 250.00 ml fresh mint leaves
Instructions:
  • In a hot wok, sizzle prawns with garlic and chili in peanut oil until nearly cooked, about 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle sugar and toss for a caramelized finish. Take off heat.
  • Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil, then quickly blanch the lasagne squares a few at a time for 1-2 minutes. Drain and lay them out on a tray. Repeat with the remaining sheets.
  • Combine the vibrant flavors of lemon juice, sesame oil, and sweet chili sauce. Mix in the onion and radish for a refreshing twist.
  • Layer lasagne sheets with juicy prawns, crisp cucumber, and fresh mint, then generously drizzle with the flavorful dressing before serving.
