Try these irresistible caramelized roast parsnips for a mouthwatering Sunday roast side.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch Dutch carrots
  • 40g butter
  • 42.90 gm Brand honey
  • 2.50 gm ground cumin
  • 2 tsp rosemary leaves (optional)
  • 4 medium parsnips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 190C (170C fan-forced). Line a large oven tray with baking paper. Trim, peel, and shape parsnips into pointy ends. Quarter lengthwise. Peel and halve large carrots.
  • Combine the butter and honey in a small saucepan over gentle heat until the butter melts. Mix in the cumin. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and mix well to coat. Spread the vegetables onto the prepared tray in a single layer and season with your favorite seasoning.
  • Roast the vegetables for 40 minutes or until they are tender and caramelised, turning occasionally. Sprinkle with rosemary before serving.
