Carrot French fries with minted salt

Crispy carrot fries seasoned with sea salt and dried mint are a tasty twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 800g carrots
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 1/2 tsp dried mint
  • 2.40 gm sea salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200C/180C fan-forced and lightly grease 2 large baking trays.
  • Cut carrots into bite-sized sticks. Arrange them in a single layer on baking trays and lightly spray with oil.
  • Bake the carrots for 15 to 20 minutes, rotating the trays halfway through, until they are golden and tender. Combine the mint and salt in a small bowl, season with pepper, then sprinkle the carrots with the salt mixture before serving.
