Delicious carrot recipes for 4 using 500g of whole or sliced carrots: boiled, mashed, roasted or fried for perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 500 g carrots
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 knob butter plus a little extra
  • 1 small handful of fresh herbs
  • a few whole cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • pepper
Instructions:
  • Boil carrots in salted water with sugar, butter, herbs, orange pieces, garlic, and a pinch of cumin for amazing flavor. Drain, discard herbs, keep one orange piece, squeeze out garlic, chop remaining orange finely, and toss with carrots, seasoning, and butter. Optional: fry orange with sugar for topping. Alternatively, roast carrots with orange and garlic for a meatier flavor, or mash for a mix of textures. Enjoy!
