Cauliflower, potato and parmesan mash

Whip up a delightful mashed side dish to boost your inspiration!
Ingredients:
  • 500g desiree potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 500g cauliflower
  • 40g butter, chopped
  • 165.00 ml finely grated parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Boil potatoes and cauliflower together in salted water until tender, then drain. Mash until smooth, then mix in butter, half the cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high. Spread the mash in a 6 cup-capacity, 4.5cm-deep, 19cm x 19cm ovenproof dish, then sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Grill for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted. Add a touch of pepper for seasoning. Serve and enjoy!
