Baked cavatelli pasta with broccoli, garlic, and mushroom saute.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cavatelli pasta
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then cook the pasta until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and serve.
  • Microwave broccoli with a splash of water in a microwave-safe dish until tender, about 3 minutes.
  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Saute garlic and mushrooms until fragrant. Mix with pasta, broccoli, and Parmesan cheese, then transfer to a 2 quart baking dish.
  • Bake covered in a hot oven for around 20 minutes until fully heated.
