Experience the flavorful blend of Indian spices in a traditional creamy tea.
Ingredients:
  • 20.00 ml fennel seeds
  • 6 green cardamom pods
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 dried bay leaves
  • 12 whole cloves
  • 1cm piece ginger, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 6 black peppercorns
  • 2l water
  • 62.50 ml Darjeeling tea leaves
  • 250ml milk
  • Brown sugar, to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over high heat, combine fennel seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves, ginger, pepper, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes to enhance flavors. Stir in tea and let it steep for 2-3 minutes before serving.
  • Mix in the milk and sugar to your desired sweetness level. Pour the mixture through a fine sieve into the serving glasses.
