Elegant champagne-mushroom cream chicken saute - perfect for guests.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2.5 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup champagne
Instructions:
  • Coat chicken breasts with a light dusting of flour, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, sear chicken breasts in olive oil until beautifully golden. Add in mushrooms and champagne and simmer over medium heat until chicken is tender, about 30 minutes. Transfer chicken to a platter once ready.
  • In a skillet, gently simmer cream for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the chicken breasts and serve.
