Delectable pizza cheeseburger fusion combining the best of both worlds.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup process cheese sauce
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup process cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese blend (1 oz)
  • 1 plum (Roma) tomato, chopped (1/3 cup)
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a large cookie sheet by greasing it with shortening or cooking spray. 2. In a 10-inch skillet, cook the beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally. Drain any excess fat. 3. Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese sauce until the cheese is melted, then set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Bisquick mix, 1/4 cup cheese sauce, and hot water until a soft dough forms. Beat vigorously about 20 strokes. On a lightly dusted surface with Bisquick mix, gently roll the dough to coat. Shape into a ball and knead about 5 times until smooth. Roll the dough into a 14-inch circle and place it on a cookie sheet.
  • Spread the flavorful beef mixture onto the dough, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold the dough over the beef. Bake for 25-28 minutes until the crust is beautifully golden. Top with cheese and tomato, then allow it to sit for 5 minutes before slicing.
