Sauteed chicken and red pepper in indulgent Muenster cheese sauce over linguine, topped with garlic powder.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into strips
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 16 ounces shredded Muenster cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 pound linguine pasta
Instructions:
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and saute until golden brown. Stir in red bell peppers and cook until they soften; cover and simmer.
  • Combine milk, butter, cheese, and garlic in a saucepan over high heat. Stir continuously for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens. If needed, add cornstarch 1 teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
  • While waiting, bring a generously salted large pot of water to a vigorous boil. Add the pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it reaches the perfect al dente texture. Drain the pasta and get ready to enjoy!
  • Mix the finished sauce with the chicken and peppers, then sprinkle in garlic powder according to your preference.
  • Drizzle the flavorful sauce over the steaming pasta and enjoy a delicious meal.
