Cheesy Meatball Pizza

Cheesy meatball pizza with golden brown crust made in just 40 minutes using Original Bisquick® mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup tomato pasta sauce (from 26-oz jar)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 16 frozen Italian-style meatballs (1/2 oz each; from 16-oz package), thawed, cut in half
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend (6 oz)
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F. Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or cookie sheet with cooking spray. Mix Bisquick and hot water in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into the pizza pan using fingers dusted with Bisquick, and create a 1/2-inch rim by pinching the edge.
  • Bake until the edges turn a beautiful golden brown, then take out of the oven.
  • Evenly layer pasta sauce onto the crust. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, place meatball halves cut side down, then add shredded cheese and bell pepper for a delicious topping.
  • Continue baking until the crust turns a beautiful golden brown and the cheese is completely melted.
