Indulge in a deliciously cheesy Instant Pot pasta with savory meat sauce for a family-friendly meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 5.5 cups water
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (16 ounce) package rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • In a multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot, heat oil using the Saute function. Add beef, onions, celery, bell pepper, and garlic, and cook until beef is browned and crumbly, for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine water, spaghetti sauce, rigatoni, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper in the pot. Stir well. Set Instant Pot to high pressure for 4 minutes and allow pressure to build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Carefully release pressure using the quick-release method following manufacturer's instructions for about 5 minutes. Then, unlock and remove the lid.
  • Gradually incorporate the Cheddar cheese, adding 1/2 cup at a time.
