Delight your family with this quick and cheesy salmon leek bake - a cozy winter dish ready in just 25 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 375g farfalle pasta
  • 60g butter
  • 50g plain flour
  • 11.80 gm Dijon mustard
  • 625g milk
  • 60g cheddar cheese
  • 1 leek, thinly sliced
  • 120g pea
  • 185g pkt Tasmanian Hot Smoked Salmon, coarsely flaked
  • 150g Deli Castello White Cheese, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente following packet instructions. Drain thoroughly.
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and mustard, cook for 2 minutes until bubbly and grainy. Lower heat, slowly pour in milk while stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes until sauce thickens. Remove from heat, mix in cheddar, season to taste.
  • As the pasta simmers, warm the oil in a pan on medium heat. Sauté the leek for 5 minutes until tender. Add the peas and mix well before taking it off the heat.
  • Mix the pasta with the sauce until well combined. Transfer the mixture into a 10-cup (2.5L) ovenproof dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
