Try Chef John's flavorful chimichurri sauce - a vibrant mix of parsley, cilantro, and oregano with olive oil and garlic, perfect for steak.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch flat-leaf Italian parsley, stems removed
  • 0.5 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup fresh oregano leaves
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped, or more to taste
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar, or more to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Collect all the necessary ingredients.
  • Blend together a vibrant mixture of parsley, cilantro, oil, oregano, garlic, vinegar, salt, cumin, red pepper flakes, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Pulse 2-3 times, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula between each pulse. Continue pulsing and scraping until a thick sauce forms, about 12 repetitions.
