Marinate chicken in yogurt and tandoori masala, then grill for flavorful Tandoori chicken.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 lime, juiced
  • 1.5 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 1.5 tablespoons tandoori masala powder
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Instructions:
  • Combine lime juice, yogurt, tandoori powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl, ensuring a smooth mixture. Transfer the marinade to a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, coat well, remove excess air, and seal the bag tightly. Marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by preheating it to medium-high heat and lightly oiling the grate.
  • Take the chicken out of the bag and place it on a plate or baking sheet lined with paper towels. Gently pat the chicken pieces dry with additional paper towels.
  • Grill chicken uncovered for 2 minutes, then cover and grill for another 6 minutes.
  • Grill the chicken with the lid closed until it is well-browned and fully cooked, about 6 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the thickest part of the thigh reaches 180 degrees F (82 degrees C).
