Cheesy spinach pasta bake.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package medium seashell pasta
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs
  • 1.5 (26 ounce) jars tomato basil pasta sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • 1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook pasta until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes; drain. 2. In a saucepan, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Cook spinach for 4 to 6 minutes until tender.
  • Transfer the cooked pasta to a medium bowl. Mix together eggs and oil in a small bowl. Combine the pasta with cooked spinach, egg mixture, and bread crumbs.
  • Spread a layer of 1/3 of the pasta sauce in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add half of the pasta mixture, then top with another 1/3 of the pasta sauce. Sprinkle half of the Cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Layer with the rest of the pasta mixture, and pour the remaining sauce over it. Finish by sprinkling the rest of the Cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
