Delicious flatbread pesto pizza topped with bacon, chicken, and feta.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 (12 inch) flatbread pizza crust
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pesto
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for optimal baking results.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium heat until water droplets sizzle on contact. Add bacon and cook until fat starts to render, about 3 minutes. Season with black pepper and cook until crispy, 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Sauté the chicken in the bacon drippings over medium heat until golden brown, for about 5 to 8 minutes. Set aside as you prepare the pizza.
  • Lay out the pizza crust on a baking sheet and carefully coat the edges with aromatic olive oil. Generously spread the vibrant pesto in the center before generously topping it with flavorful feta cheese, succulent chicken, and crispy bacon.
  • Bake until the cheese is melted and the crust edges are golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
