20-minute Tangy Italian dinner: Spicy chicken and bean pasta in flavorful sauce. Perfect family meal!
Ingredients:
  • 8 oz. uncooked angel hair pasta (capellini)
  • 1 lb. chicken breast tenders
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes with roasted garlic, undrained
  • 1/2 cup sliced green olives
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 (14.5-oz.) can cut wax beans, drained
Instructions:
  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it reaches your desired doneness. Drain it well and cover to keep it warm.
  • First, gently pat dry the succulent chicken tenders with paper towels, and generously season them with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Then, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling. Add the seasoned chicken tenders and sear for 4 to 6 minutes until they develop a beautiful golden brown color, remembering to turn them once for even cooking.
  • Combine juicy tomatoes, briny olives, and a hint of spicy pepper flakes. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly. Then, stir in the beans and cook for an extra 2 to 3 minutes until they are heated through.
  • Transfer the al dente pasta into a spacious bowl, then generously layer it with the savory chicken mixture.
