Indulge in a luxurious chicken and mushroom cream sauce dish - perfect for any occasion. Quick, easy, and absolutely divine.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic, divided
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 thin slices prosciutto
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 0.25 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup sour cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
  • 1. Drizzle butter in a casserole dish. 2. Season chicken with 1 tablespoon garlic, salt, and pepper. Wrap each thigh in prosciutto and place in the casserole dish. Sprinkle mushrooms and remaining garlic over the top.
  • Roast until the juices are clear, around 1 hour. Take out of the oven, place chicken and mushrooms on a platter, and cover with foil to retain warmth.
  • Transfer the flavorful drippings from the baking dish to a skillet over medium-low heat. Combine with sour cream and wine, and simmer the sauce until warmed, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Serve by generously drizzling the sauce over the chicken and mushrooms.
